My heart is full

My 1st full day retreat is in the books. I feel so blessed of the heart warming messages I’ve received. Here is what our Nurturing Day looked like.

The day started with a Nurture in Nature Forest Bath in Moss Park, followed by a tea ceremony.

After arriving at my home we had a chance to connect with one another before nurturing the body with a gentle yoga & Meditation class learning about the 5 elements of Ayurveda.

Followed by a home made lunch and a period of rest, we dove into essential oils and learned how to build a natural medicine cabinet and about the emotional benefits of certain oils and blends. This class was optional, one could also take more time to rest in a hammock in the back yard or dive into a mental exercise to determine the core values for oneself.

We gathered again to experience a Nurturing the mind Chakra Balancing Meditation with Aromatherapy.

After that, mobility of the feet was introduced and gentle massage techniques shared to learn better self care and staying true to a theme of nurturing one self for the day.

The finale of the day was a sound bath with a very talented sound healer.

This is what one participant had to say. It has me a bit choked up.

A day with Tina is like a timeless escape to zen. The custom curated agenda featuring various mindfulness experiences allows you to sink deeper into your day of disconnected relaxation. I’ve been on a few of these special retreat experiences with Tina and what brings me back is her attention to detail; variety of activities balancing movement, deep reflection, & varied experiential learning. I begin the retreat letting go of my agenda, expectations and assumptions and am taken on a well thought out journey of unplugging from the typical chaos of the day and plugging back into myself. I leave the experience craving the next one, feeling hosted in a comfortable & safe space where I have undeniably bonded with the other participants; we’re all in this together. Each of the offerings throughout the day is equally as important for my sense of peace, groundedness & a reinspiration of my mindfulness toolbox. I’m recharged for tomorrow and I’m deeply grateful for Tina in providing this meaningful & fulfilling escape.
